Dennis S. Charney, MD
Vice President

Dennis S. Charney, MD, is Anne and Joel Ehrenkranz Dean of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and President for Academic Affairs for the Mount Sinai Health System.  He is also a world expert in the neurobiology and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, making fundamental contributions to the understanding of the causes of human anxiety, fear, and depression, and the discovery of new treatment for mood and anxiety disorders.

Jürgen A. Friedrich

Jürgen Alfred Rudolf Friedrich, founded Esprit’s European operations in 1976 and has been a Non-executive Director of the Company since 1997. He is a member of the Remuneration Committee of the Board. Mr Friedrich has over 32 years of experience in the apparel distribution and marketing business and is currently retired in Switzerland.

Frederick S. Slagle
Secretary

Mr. Frederick S. Slagle serves as Executive Director of The Marcus Foundation. Mr. Slagle serves on the board of the Georgia Aquarium, include serving on the boards of the Marcus Institute, The Marcus Foundation, the Marcus Jewish Community Center and the Kennedy Krieger Institute. He serves as Director of Jenkins Clinic, Inc. Mr. Slagle received his B.S. Degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee.

Valentin Fuster, MD
Vice President

Valentin Fuster, MD, serves The Mount Sinai Medical Hospital as Physician-in-Chief, as well as Director of Mount Sinai Heart, the Zena and Michael A. Wiener Cardiovascular Institute and the Marie-Josée and Henry R. Kravis Center for Cardiovascular Health. He is also the Richard Gorlin, MD/Heart Research Foundation Professor, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.  Dr. Fuster was the President of Science and is now the General Director of the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares Carlos III (CNIC) in Madrid, Spain and also and Chairman of the SHE Foundation (Science for Health and Education).
