The Mitral Valve Repair Reference Center Award enables patients to make informed choices about the team they are trusting to perform their procedure.

Learn about our work developing realistic, interactive 3D computer generated models, along with synthetic valves for hands-on training. Our series of physician roundtables are the focus of visiting professorships. Over 500 surgeons from 50 countries have taken part in our reconstructive valve surgery workshops. Named after Stanley Schlesinger, the scholarship has helped advance physician training in the developing world.
